Although many of Scott's photographic sessions are done in color, black and white portraiture, hand coloring, and even infrared black and white photography are standard items on the menu in his Scottsdale Arizona studio. A large north light window provides natural lighting, which Scott uses so that children can move around as kids like to do. Because of the natural lighting, the children are always in an environment with good light, allowing Scott to shoot those natural poses and looks that parents want to see.
